A weekend of local artists playing their melodies on the most romantic weekend of the year? That’s music to our ears! As always there will be Music in The Bar on Friday nights.

Around Madison
Here are some special Valentine’s Events happening around Madison that you can share with your special someone or a cherished friend. Many area restaurants will also have specials, so be sure to check with your favorite dining establishment to see if they take reservations.
Valentine's Day Skate with Outdoor UW: Celebrate under the winter night sky with ice skating, romantic music, campfires, hot chocolate, and s'mores on Friday, February 13th from 5-7 PM at Wisconsin Memorial Union.
A Love Letter: Theatre LILA is collaborating with Barrio dance for an upcoming production called Love Letter, is an experimental dance-theatre work that blends visceral movement, poetic storytelling, and live music. The new work weaves a non-linear narrative exploring the beautiful unpredictability and complexity of love. This performance runs February 5-15, at 7 pm Thursday-Friday, 2 and 7 pm Saturday, and 2 pm Sunday.
A Valentine’s Affair: Love Scenes from Shakespeare and Beyond: Madison’s unique Valentine’s Day tradition continues with the eighth installment of the Madison Shakespeare Company’s A Valentine’s Affair, a celebration of classic love stories from William Shakespeare including A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Much Ado About Nothing, and Cyrano DeBergerac (not Shakespeare).
Showing at the Bartell Theatre at 7:30 pm on February 12-13 and 5 pm, February 14.
Looking to make a day of it? Begin your day with museum hopping, exploring the city's vibrant art and history scene at places like the Chazen Museum of Art or the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art, wander through captivating exhibits hand in hand, soaking up inspiration from the creativity and culture around you.
