If you've ever stayed with us in the Governor's Club level, you might have found the jar in the Governor's Club Library filled with large, gooey, delicious chocolate chip cookies. We make those in-house and have them served fresh in the Library every day.
Now, if you're missing those cookies and want something sweet, you don't have to wait until your next stay with us. You can now make these Concourse-style, house-made chocolate-chip cookies at home with our recipe:
½ cup of All Purpose Flour
¼ tsp of Baking Soda
¼ tbsp of Malted Milk Powder
¾ cup of Brown Sugar
2/3 cup of Granulated Sugar
1 ½ tsp of Molasses
½ tsp of Salt
1 stick of Butter (4oz)-soften
1 Egg Yolk
1 small Egg
¼ tsp of Pure Vanilla Extract
1/3 cup of Chocolate Callets
1/3 cups of Chocolate Chips
Cream together butter, sugar, salt and molasses on low speed, scraping down occasionally. Sift together flour and baking soda; add malted milk powder and whisk to combine. Set aside.Whisk together yolk, egg and vanilla. Add eggs to the butter mixture; mix well to combine. Scrape down at least once. Add the flour mixture, then chocolate. Portion with scoop; freeze for later or bake immediately at 350F for 11 minutes. If the dough is frozen, bake time is 15 minutes.
