Jekyll & Hyde

Experience the world premiere of “Jekyll & Hyde,” an electrifying new ballet from Madison Ballet that reimagines Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic tale for today’s audiences.

Choreographed by Madison Ballet Artistic Director Ja’ Malik and Rehearsal Director Richard Walters and set to the compelling music of Michael Nyman, this full-length production explores the eternal struggle between virtue and temptation, identity and obsession. Through powerful contemporary choreography, cinematic storytelling and stunning visual design, “Jekyll & Hyde” reveals the darkness—and humanity—that lives within us all.

Opening Madison Ballet’s 45th season during Halloween, this bold new production is an unforgettable evening of dance theater that pushes the boundaries of ballet while honoring one of literature’s most enduring masterpieces.

Please note: These performances are at Madison Youth Arts on 1055 E Mifflin St, not Overture Center.
