Banquet Cleaner

This position is part time. Shifts are Friday – Sunday, 6AM-4PM. Qualified applicants must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Duties include but not limited to:
Up-keep and stocking of conference room bathrooms.
Clean Restaurants and the Bar
Communication with banquet team at all times.
Vacuum and spot clean carpet as needed.
Up-keep and stocking of banquet kitchen.
Assist with projects as needed.
Maintaining cleanliness of property

Banquet Houseperson

Part Time – AM/PM shifts. Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
Responsible for manual set up and break down of banquet functions to desired specification, maintaining A/V equipment, and service and refreshment of functions as needed. Must possess basic English language communication skills; and the ability to lift and move heavy equipment on a continuous basis throughout the shifts. Must be able to work as part of a team.

Dishwasher

Full Time – Shifts are between 8AM-4PM and includes weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities include: Wash all wares in dishwashing machine or by hand according to the highest sanitation standards; polish all silverware, platters and chaffing dishes; collect trash from kitchen areas; empties garbage cans and washes and relines with new bags. Break down boxes, crates and removes debris; sweep and mop kitchen floors; perform other tasks such as assisting in food preparation, storing foods after delivery and cleaning coolers, freezers and storerooms. Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to communicate in English.

Front Desk Agent

Full Time This position will be 4-5 shifts per week. Shifts between 7AM-3PM and 3PM-11PM. Must be flexible to include weekends and holidays.
Greet and register incoming guests, ensuring that guests are properly introduced to the hotel and its amenities. Process guest folios and collect payment. Administer and manage cash handling responsibilities. Provide appropriate phone etiquette to all callers. Maintain efficient and effective flow of information with guests, team members, managers, and sales department, housekeeping and food and beverage departments. Handle guest requests and concerns promptly and with courtesy. Relay appropriate tourism information to guests about local areas of interest. Prepare for guest arrivals. Receive and distribute guest mail and deliveries. Control inventory and distribution of hotel keys. Knowledge of the Madison area and attractions strongly preferred. Applicants with previous experience are preferred; applicants with a customer service background are strongly preferred. Outgoing, pleasant personality a must!

Front Desk Supervisor

Full Time This position will be 4-5 shifts per week. Shifts between 7AM-3PM and 3PM-11PM. Must be flexible to include weekends and holidays.
Assists in managing the front desk. Carries out supervisory responsibilities including training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; rewarding and disciplining complaints and solving problems. Also performs the duties of a Front Desk Representative
One year of hotel experience strongly preferred, as well as in depth knowledge of the Madison area. Outgoing, pleasant personality a must!

Governor’s Club Bartender

This positon is Part Time, 3-4 nights per week (20-30 hrs per week.) Shifts vary throughout the week from 3PM-11PM. Must be flexible to work holidays.
We are looking for a professional bartender with exceptional interpersonal skills to provide extraordinary service and maintain impeccable facilities in our top-rated complimentary bar. A vibrant, well rounded professional bartender with strong communication skills is needed to host and tend this exclusive lounge. Please contact the hotel for detailed job description. Must have at least one year experience as a licensed bartender.

Laundry Attendant

Full Time – Shifts are between 12PM-8PM. Must be able to work weekends.
Inspect and sort all laundry and linens and records all damaged or stained items. Operate washers and dryers according to recommended capacity and other manufacturers’ guidelines. Ensure necessary chemicals are added in the correct quantities prior to wash cycles. Fold clean linens and store as appropriate. Operate linen feeder, sheet folder, towel folder and table linen ironer machines. This job requires lifting up to 50 pounds, frequently standing, bending and stooping and working in a high temperature area. Must be able to communicate in English and work as part of a team.

PBX Telephone Operator

Part Time – PM shifts Between are 3PM-11PM (for example 4PM-9PM or 5PM-10PM) to include weekends and holidays.
Responsible for answering all switchboard calls; shipping, receiving and logging packages; handling the guest requests; coordinating guest transportation; assisting the front desk during heavy traffic times and auditing the Sundries register. Must have excellent communication skills and general computer skills. Outgoing, pleasant personality a must!

PM Restaurant Host

Part Time – Shifts are 3PM-11PM, 2-3 days per week
Greet guests and seat guests in the dining room, make reservations, assist servers with food and beverage service, assist busser in preparing tables for the next seating and maintain overall flow of the dining room. Previous experience in a fine dining atmosphere strongly preferred.
